Transport ship for nuclear fuel

P-2719 is a ship intended for the transport of nuclear fuel and waste. The order was to design a ship that could transport this very delicate cargo and be acceptable to all parties involved, including a number of environmental groups. The ship offers extremely long-range operation capabilities and safety is fully guaranteed, since all important systems are installed in duplicate and in independent spaces. As a result, the ship’s functions remain operational under all circumstances. The vessel is also equipped with very far-reaching anti-radiation measures and with protection systems against terrorism and piracy. Crew accommodation is extremely comfortable and luxurious.
