ISO 9001-2008 certificate for DSDM PMC

Category: General

The Deep Sea Dredging and Mining (DSDM) PMC received ISO 9001-2008 certification on 22 September. Since 2008, DSD&M has focussed on the development and delivery of remote-controlled deep-sea excavation tools and vertical transport systems. In order to support these areas of focus, it is essential to guarantee the quality of internal procedures.

These efforts were recognised with the award of the ISO 9001-2008 certificate last month, which underlines the high standards practiced by DSDM. The observation and evaluation procedures for this will be managed by Bureau Veritas Certification.

DSDM’s certified activities will result in a better position within the market segments of deep sea mining, dredging and offshore. This makes it possible to offer specialist services and expertise to customers who stipulate such a requirement.
